Piedmont Hills lost against Leigh back in March of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Piedmont Hills fell 9-6 to Leigh. The Pirates' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Donte Bulter made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances. He also brought in an RBI, marking his first of the season. Christian Bustamante was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

Piedmont Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Leigh, they pushed their record up to 7-1 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Piedmont Hills has already played their next match, a 9-0 loss against Live Oak on the 25th. As for Leigh, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 13-2 win against Westmont on the 26th.
