Soccer Recap: Edison Comes Up Short

Edison might've scored the first goal on Wednesday, but it was Magnolia who claimed the real prize. The Wildcats fell just short of the Blue Eagles by a score of 3-2. Edison just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Riley Conkle and Alison Kireta scored both of Edison's goals, bringing their combined season tally to three goals.

Edison's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Magnolia, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Coincidentally, Edison and Magnolia will both be playing Indian Creek the next time they take the pitch. The Blue Eagles will host the Redskins at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Wildcats will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
