Football Game Preview: Bluff Dale Bobcats vs. Iredell Dragons

The Bluff Dale Bobcats will face off against the Iredell Dragons at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Bluff Dale's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.

On Thursday, Bluff Dale didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Three Way, but they still walked away with a 34-29 victory. Those 34 points were actually the fewest the Bobcats have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Bluff Dale can attribute much of their success to Alex Saucedo, who gained 213 total yards and two touchdowns, and Austin Saucedo, who gained 171 total yards and two touchdowns. Alex got the majority of those receiving yards when he pulled down a pass and took off for a gain of 56 yards.

Meanwhile, Iredell humbled Morgan with a 60-15 victory. The Dragons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three contests by 35 points or more this season.

Bluff Dale pushed their record up to 6-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.3 points over those games. As for Iredell, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
