Volleyball Recap: Banneker Triumphs + How To Watch

Banneker won the last time they faced Woodson and things went their way on Thursday too. The Bulldogs walked away with a 2-0 win over the Warriors. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.

Banneker easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-21.

Banneker can attribute much of their success to Taylor Wright, who had five aces. Those five aces gave Wright a new career-high.

Banneker's victory bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Woodson, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Banneker is set to square off against their familiar foe Jackson-Reed at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Woodson will take on rival MacArthur at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
