Baseball Recap: Coleman Takes a Loss

Coleman fell victim to Sacred Heart Academy and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 11-0 to the Irish. The loss continues a trend for the Comets in their meetings with the Irish: they've now lost three in a row.

Coleman's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Sacred Heart Academy, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 7-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Coleman will take on Saginaw Arts & Sciences Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Comets are facing the Dragons at the right time seeing as the Dragons are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Sacred Heart Academy, they will be playing at home against Kalamazoo Central at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
