West Ranch has gone 9-1 against Golden Valley recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Wildcats are taking a road trip to challenge the Grizzlies at 3:15 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (West Ranch has three straight victories, Golden Valley has ten straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

On Friday, West Ranch was able to grind out a solid win over Vasquez, taking the game 10-6.

Meanwhile, Golden Valley fell victim to Valencia and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 10-0 to the Vikings.

Golden Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 4-17. As for West Ranch, their victory bumped their record up to 11-14.

West Ranch took their win against Golden Valley when the teams last played back in April by a conclusive 20-5 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wildcats since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
