Football Recap: Long Reach Comes Up Short

Long Reach lost against Howard back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Lightning had to suffer through a 41-12 loss at the hands of the Lions. The game marked the Lightning's lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Long Reach and nudges their season record down to 3-2. As for Howard, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Long Reach will venture away from home to take on Atholton at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Howard, they will head out to challenge Glenelg at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
