Basketball Recap: Strawn Snags Third Victory in Last Four Games

After losing to Baird the last time they met, Strawn decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Strawn Greyhounds came out on top against the Baird Bears by a score of 47-39 on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Greyhounds.

Strawn is also on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.3 points per game. As for Baird, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5.

Strawn will venture away from home to take on Gordon at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in Gordon's favor as the squad sits on four straight wins at home while Strawn has been banged up by nine consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season. As for Baird, they will host Ranger at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Baird is facing Ranger at the right time seeing as Ranger is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
