Baseball Recap: IMG Academy Navy Takes a Loss

After flying high against Wiregrass Ranch last Wednesday, IMG Academy Navy came back down to earth. The Ascenders fell 9-5 to the Aubrey Rogers Patriots on Saturday.

IMG Academy Navy got a big performance out of Eduardo Abuchaibe Florez, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Jeffrey Nepa, who scored two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

IMG Academy Navy's defeat dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Aubrey Rogers, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-4.

Coming up, IMG Academy Navy will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Sarasota Military Academy at 7:00 p.m. As for Aubrey Rogers, they will head out to face off against Gateway Charter at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
