Baseball Recap: Shorecrest Prep Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Shorecrest Prep entered their tilt with Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate on Friday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They came out on top against the Phoenix by a score of 13-8. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 8-3 back in February.

The team relied heavily on Wesley Ryan, who scored three runs while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Christopher Booth was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-5.

Shorecrest Prep's win bumped their record up to 9-4. As for Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-20.
