Soccer Game Preview: Cousino vs. L'Anse Creuse

Cousino is 2-8 against L'Anse Creuse since May of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Patriots will host the Lancers at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Cousino's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They won by a goal and slipped past Clawson 1-0. The game was the first time Cousino have beaten Clawson on their pitch since March 27, 2017.

Meanwhile, L'Anse Creuse came tearing into Friday's game with nine straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.1 goals), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Vikings as they made off with a 4-0 victory. The result was nothing new for L'Anse Creuse, who have now won ten matchups by four goals or more so far this season.

L'Anse Creuse pushed their record up to 12-2 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home. As for Cousino, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-6-4.
