Basketball Recap: Perrydale Takes a Loss

Perrydale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 42-41 heartbreaker at the hands of the St. Paul Buckaroos. While losing is never fun, the Pirates can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 269th, while the Buckaroos are ranked 117th).

Perrydale's loss dropped their record down to 4-17. As for St. Paul, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season.

Perrydale will take on Lyle at 3:30 p.m. on February 8th. St. Paul has already played their next game (against Livingstone Adventist Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
