Volleyball Recap: Centerville Takes a Loss

Centerville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Daleville Broncos. The Bulldogs were not able to make up for their loss to the Broncos from their previous meeting back in September of 2022.

Abi Sangster paced Centerville's offense, picking up four kills. Sangster got some help from Baylei Hughes and her six assists.

Daleville can attribute much of their success to Kelsi Kahalekomo, who had 11 digs and four aces. That's the most aces Kahalekomo has posted since back in October of 2024.

Centerville's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Daleville, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.

Centerville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against New Castle on the 26th. As for Daleville, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Southwestern on the 23rd.
