Graham Sledd made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. That's the first time he hasn't allowed a single hit since back in March of 2024. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing Two bases. while going 1-for-4. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high.

In other batting news, Jobe Sullivan was a standout: he scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2. Another player making a difference was Kyle Shaw, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Meanwhile, Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 16-1 to Steward.
