Soccer Recap: Riverside's Undefeated Season over After Six Games

Riverside managed to keep up with Jefferson until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Bulldogs came up short against the Yellowjackets, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Riverside of the 10-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Having lost for the first time this season, Riverside fell to 3-1-2. As for Jefferson, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Coincidentally, Riverside and Jefferson will both be playing Creston the next time they take the pitch. The Yellowjackets will host the Panthers at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, while the Bulldogs will play them later in the day, at 1:30 p.m.
