Basketball Recap: Living Word Lutheran Skates Past Kenosha Christian Life with Ease

Living Word Lutheran won the last time they faced Kenosha Christian Life and things went their way on Friday too. The Living Word Lutheran Timberwolves blew past the Kenosha Christian Life Eagles 57-13. The Timberwolves have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matchups by 29 points or more this season.

Living Word Lutheran was led to victory by Kaleah Alles and Delaney Winkelmann. Alles dropped a double-double with 24 points and ten boards, while Winkelmann went 8-for-17 to rack up 18 points in addition to seven rebounds and five steals. What's more, Alles also posted a 65% shooting accuracy, which is the highest she's achieved since back in December of 2024. Makenna Bynum was another key player, putting up three points and nine steals.

Living Word Lutheran smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in 16 consecutive contests.

Living Word Lutheran is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season. As for Kenosha Christian Life, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-14.

Coincidentally, Living Word Lutheran and Kenosha Christian Life will both be playing Lake Country Lutheran the next time they take the court. Living Word Lutheran will host Lake Country Lutheran at 7:15 p.m. on Monday, while Kenosha Christian Life will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
