Basketball Recap: Buffalo Comes Up Short

Buffalo lost against Arnett back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Buffalo Bison were beaten by the Arnett Wildcats 68-28. While losing is never fun, the Bison can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 384th, while the Wildcats are ranked 74th).

Buffalo has traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season. As for Arnett, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-5.

Buffalo has already played their next game, a 52-27 win against Vici on the 1st. As for Arnett, they will face off against Shattuck at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Arnett is facing Shattuck at the right time seeing as Shattuck is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
