Softball Recap: Beckville's Losing Streak Snapped at Four Games

Beckville can bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Ore City Rebels with a sharp 16-3 victory. Considering the Bearcats have won seven games by more than seven runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Landrie Dennard was incredible, going 2-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in RBI. Another player making a difference was Kaitlyn Mauritzen, who scored two runs and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-3.

Beckville always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .533. They are a perfect 6-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Beckville's win bumped their record up to 9-7-2. As for Ore City, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-8-1.

Beckville will have a chance to go back-to-back against Ore City: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
