Basketball Recap: Northern Adirondack Comes Up Short

Northern Adirondack lost against Seton Catholic Central back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Northern Adirondack Bobcats took a 33-24 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Seton Catholic Central Knights. The Bobcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Seton Catholic Central's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Grace Trombley, who posted nine points and eight rebounds. Trombley has been hot recently, having posted eight or more boards the last three times she's played. Dayline Willette was another key player, putting up eight points and five rebounds.

Northern Adirondack's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Seton Catholic Central, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-5.

Northern Adirondack and Seton Catholic Central could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps New York Rankings. Northern Adirondack will challenge Moriah at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday down 428 places (581 vs. 153). Meanwhile, Seton Catholic Central (ranked 438th) will meet Bolton Central (ranked 183rd) at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
