Volleyball Recap: Canton Takes a Loss

Canton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Limestone Rockets. The Little Giants were not able to make up for their defeat to the Rockets from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-11.

Among those leading the charge was Khloe Stear, who had eight digs and two aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in August. Bria Pineda also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Canton's loss dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Limestone, the win keeps them at an undefeated 18-0.

Canton has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Morton on the 1st. As for Limestone, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against East Peoria on the 2nd.
