Deer Trail has gone a perfect 10-0 against Hanover recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Eagles will head out to take on the Hornets at 5:00 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Deer Trail came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Elbert, falling 3-0.

Deer Trail was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-20, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Hanover was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to Elbert.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-19, 25-14.

Hanover's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Deer Trail, their loss dropped their record down to 4-7.

Everything went Deer Trail's way against Hanover when the teams last played back in September of 2024, as Deer Trail made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
