Volleyball Recap: Crosby Gets the Win

Crosby hadn't done well against Alvin recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Cougars came out on top against the Yellowjackets by a score of 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cougars.

Kylie Green paced Crosby's offense, picking up six kills. Green really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with seven. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

The victory got Crosby back to even at 2-2. As for Alvin, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Crosby wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Pasadena Memorial on the 15th. As for Alvin, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Ball on the 16th.
