Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lamar). They were the clear victors by a 19-1 margin over the St. Mary's Pirates on Saturday. The result was nothing new for the Thunder, who have now won eight matchups by ten runs or more so far this season.
Axton Morales was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out ten over five innings pitched. Those ten strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with four runs, two stolen bases, and one double.
