Basketball Recap: Clovis Comes Up Short

Clovis lost to Carlsbad back in February of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wildcats took a 65-59 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cavemen/Cavegirls. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Clovis' defeat dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Carlsbad, they pushed their record up to 15-6 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Clovis will challenge rival Roswell at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Carlsbad is set to take on their familiar foe Hobbs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
