After a string of nine wins, Fletcher's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Paxon School For Advanced Studies Golden Eagles by a score of 57-54. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Senators have suffered since February 6, 2024.

Defeat or not, Fletcher got some senior leadership from DJ Rivera and Ryder Kay. Rivera posted 22 points in addition to six rebounds and six steals, while Kay put up 12 points. Those six steals gave Rivera a new career-high. Dom Gonzalez also deserves some recognition as he grabbed his first steal of the season.

Fletcher's loss ended an eight-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-5. As for Paxon School For Advanced Studies, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.
