Baseball Recap: Old Town Takes a Loss

Old Town and Ellsworth squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Old Town had to settle for second. They lost 11-2 to the Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, with their most recent loss being a 8-0 defeat back in May.

Old Town saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nate Baker, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Old Town moved to 10-8 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Ellsworth, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-5.

As of now, neither Old Town nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
