Recap: McKinney Christian Academy Mustangs vs. Dallas Christian Chargers
The McKinney Christian Academy Mustangs fell victim to the Dallas Christian Chargers''s stalwart defense on Saturday and couldn't make it onto the board. They were dealt a 70-0 loss at the hands of the Chargers. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for McKinney Christian Academy in their matchups with Dallas Christian: they've now lost six in a row.
Dallas Christian was led to victory by Luke Carney and Jaden Davis. Carney rushed for 90 yards, while Davis rushed for 141 yards and five touchdowns on only 12 carries. William Nettles also helped out with an impressive 80 receiving yards.
McKinney Christian Academy's defeat was their sixth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 4-5. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 12.0 points per game. As for Dallas Christian, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-1.
McKinney Christian Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Brook Hill at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Dallas Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
