Baseball Game Preview: Lakeville North Panthers vs. Chaska Hawks

Lakeville North is 1-6 against Chaska since May of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Panthers are taking a road trip to face off against the Hawks at 7:00 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Lakeville North 3.6, Chaska 3.3) so any runs scored will be well earned.

On Thursday, Lakeville North didn't have quite enough to beat Rosemount and fell 8-7.

Meanwhile, Chaska suffered their closest defeat since April 25th on Saturday. They fell just short of Waconia by a score of 3-1. The Hawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lakeville North's loss dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Chaska, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-6.

Lakeville North might still be hurting after the 8-0 loss they got from Chaska in their previous matchup back in May of 2024. Can the Panthers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
