Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Caledonia). They never let the Muskegon Big Reds get on the board and left with an 8-0 victory on Thursday. The win was nothing new for Caledonia as they're now sitting on three straight.

Caledonia's victory bumped their record up to 7-3-1. As for Muskegon, their loss dropped their record down to 0-9.

Caledonia and Muskegon could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings. The Fighting Scots (ranked 60th) will meet Portage Central (ranked first) at 12:15 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Muskegon will square off against Fremont at 5:30 p.m. on Friday with a big rank disadvantage (379 vs. 84).
