Baseball Recap: Mission San Jose Takes a Loss

Monday just wasn't the day for Mission San Jose's offense. They came up short against the Kennedy Titans on Monday, falling 10-0. The Warriors have struggled against the Titans recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost meeting.

Mission San Jose saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nicholas Campbell, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one double. That double marked the first that Campbell hit this season.

Mission San Jose's defeat dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Kennedy, their win bumped their record up to 7-9.

Looking ahead, Mission San Jose will face off against Mt. Eden at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Monarchs will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each match than the last. Kennedy will be paying especially close attention to Mission San Jose's game: after Mission San Jose faces off against Mt. Eden, they'll take on Kennedy again at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
