Baseball Recap: Fairfield Gets the Win

Fairfield hadn't done well against Central DeWitt recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Trojans had just enough and edged out Central DeWitt 9-8. That's two games straight that the Trojans have won by just one run.

Fairfield has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. As for Central DeWitt, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season.
