Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Na'zyiah Spann and Riley Davies Lead Chiefland to Victory + How To Watch

There's no place like home for Chiefland, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They came out on top against the Trenton Tigers by a score of 3-1 on Monday. This was a revenge game for the Indians: when they faced off against the Tigers last Monday, they had to take a 3-1 loss.

While Chiefland might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Trenton scored at least 19 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-19, 22-25, 25-21.

Chiefland was led to victory by Riley Davies and Na'Zyiah Spann. Davies had 18 digs and two aces, while Spann had eight digs and five kills. What's more, Davies posted three assists, the most she's had over her last five matches.

They weren't the only good servers: Chiefland was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 14 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least 11 aces in four consecutive contests.

The victory got Chiefland back to even at 7-7. As for Trenton, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-12.

Chiefland didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-2 loss against P.K. Yonge on the 9th. As for Trenton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Cedar Key on the 7th.
