Basketball Recap: Valley Regional Triumphs

On Friday, in a tight contest that could have gone either way, the Valley Regional Warriors made off with a 63-62 victory over the East Windsor Panthers.

Valley Regional's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Rex Grabowski, who went 10-for-19 en route to 21 points along with six rebounds and four blocks. Grabowski is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as he's now posted two or more in each of the last ten games he's played. Another player making a difference was Thomas Troy, who went 5-for-11 on his way to 12 points in addition to seven boards and six assists.

Valley Regional's win bumped their record up to 7-12. As for East Windsor, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9.

Valley Regional does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for East Windsor, they are taking a road trip to challenge Granby Memorial at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
