Basketball Recap: Pine River Area Comes Up Short

Pine River Area lost against Manton back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Pine River Area Bucks had to suffer through a 68-38 loss at the hands of the Manton Rangers. The Bucks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Pine River Area's record now sits at 8-10. As for Manton, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season.

Coming up, Pine River Area will take on McBain at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Manton, they will venture away from home to challenge Mio-Au Sable at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
