Football Recap: Larimore Drops Season-High Score on St. John + How To Watch

Larimore won the last time they faced St. John and things went their way on Friday too. The Polar Bears came out on top in a nail-biter against the Woodchucks, sneaking past 50-48. The Polar Bears' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Baron Burns had a dynamite game, rushing for 108 yards and a pair of TDs on only ten carries, while also throwing for 148 yards and two touchdowns. Those 108 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. Grant Odermann was another key player, rushing for 105 yards and two scores.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Larimore was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 332 rushing yards. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 78 rushing yards per game earlier this season, but in their last five games they've averaged 307.7.

Larimore's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-6. As for St. John, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5.
