Basketball Recap: Floyd County Skates Past Carroll County with Ease

Floyd County posted their biggest victory since February 6, 2024 on Tuesday. They took their match with ease, bagging a 57-28 win over the Carroll County Cavaliers. The Buffaloes pushed the score to 48-21 by the end of the third, a deficit the Cavaliers had little chance of recovering from.

Despite the loss, Carroll County saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Kenzie Young posted four points along with nine steals and eight boards. Those nine steals set a new season-high mark for Young. Another player making a difference was Raylee Goins, who put up eight points and six rebounds.
