Volleyball Game Preview: Pleasant Valley Vikings vs. Las Plumas Thunderbirds

The Pleasant Valley Vikings will venture away from home to square off against the Las Plumas Thunderbirds at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.

Pleasant Valley can't be too happy about their upcoming road matchup considering what happened when they opened their season away from home on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to Yuba City.

Pleasant Valley was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The final score came out to 25-15, 26-24, 25-10.

Meanwhile, Las Plumas got the win against Enterprise on Wednesday by a conclusive 3-0.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Las Plumas took every set by at least 13 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-12, 25-12.
