Thunderbird is still undefeated this season after their contest against Greenway on Thursday, but Greenway came as close as anyone has to beating them. The Titans came within a single point of losing the streak, but they secured a 43-42 W against the Demons. That's more bragging rights for the Titans, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Thunderbird found their leader in sophomore Daryl Little, who picked up 231 receiving yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 45 yards and one score. Those 231 receiving yards set a new season-high mark for Little. JP Stewart was another key player, throwing for 248 yards and three TDs while picking up 10.8 yards per attempt.

When it comes to explaining why Greenway lost, don't look at Corey Guerrero. Despite the final result, he rushed for 136 yards while picking up 7.6 yards per carry, and also caught one score.

Thunderbird's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Greenway, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Thunderbird wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 27-14 victory against Deer Valley on the 27th. As for Greenway, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 50-27 loss against Mesquite on the 26th.
