Soccer Recap: North Raleigh Christian Academy Comes Up Short

After flying high against Northside - Jacksonville last Saturday, North Raleigh Christian Academy came back down to earth. The North Raleigh Christian Academy Knights fell just short of the Rocky Mount Academy Eagles by a score of 3-2 on Friday. The loss was the Knights' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, North Raleigh Christian Academy fell to 2-1-1. As for Rocky Mount Academy, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Raleigh Christian Academy will welcome Cary Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. This will be Cary Academy's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Rocky Mount Academy, they will host Christ Covenant at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Rocky Mount Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 5.2 goals per game this season.
