West Florida and Jay are an even 3-3 against one another since March of 2022, but likely not for long. The Jaguars will square off against the Royals at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

West Florida fought the good fight in their extra-innings matchup against Tate on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Aggies by a score of 5-4.

Meanwhile, Jay came up short against Northview on Thursday and fell 9-5. The loss was the Royals' first of the season.

West Florida's loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Jay, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 14-1.

West Florida came out on top in a nail-biter against Jay in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, sneaking past 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Jaguars since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
