Basketball Recap: Frederick Comes Up Short

Frederick lost to Mangum back in January of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bombers took a 46-34 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers. The Bombers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Frederick's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Mangum, their win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-4.

Coming up, Frederick will venture away from home to challenge Ryan at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The Cowboys' defense has only allowed 29.7 points per game this season, so the Bombers' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Mangum, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 53-40 defeat against Turpin on the 10th.
