Edcouch-Elsa has gone 9-1 against Donna recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Yellowjackets are taking a road trip to square off against the Redskins at 7:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Edcouch-Elsa is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Lopez just ended the team's three-match winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Lobos by a score of 3-2.

Edcouch-Elsa actually scored more points across those five sets (103-100), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-22, 21-25, 14-25, 15-13.

Meanwhile, Donna came up short against Harlingen South on Saturday, falling 3-0.

Donna took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-15, 25-18.

Donna's defeat dropped their record down to 15-17. As for Edcouch-Elsa, their loss dropped their record down to 20-16.

Edcouch-Elsa took their win against Donna in their previous matchup back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Yellowjackets since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
