Baseball Recap: Ferndale Yellow Jackets vs. Harmony Area Owls
Ferndale had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They were the clear victors by a 14-3 margin over the Harmony Area Owls on Friday. This was payback for the Yellow Jackets, who suffered a 2-0 loss the last time these two teams met.
Josh Mitchell made a big impact no matter where he played. He tossed 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Mitchell was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with three RBI.
