Baseball Recap: Torres Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Torres, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They had just enough and edged out the Marquez Gladiators 6-4. This was a revenge game for the Toros: when they faced off against the Gladiators on Monday, they had to take a 4-1 loss.

Jouse Solis Rojas was excellent, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Abraham Ramos, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Torres was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .423. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Marquez only posted a batting average of .233.

Torres' record now sits at 12-3. As for Marquez, they moved to 16-7 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Torres wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 7-2 loss against Sotomayor on the 5th. As for Marquez, they have also already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Maywood CES on the 5th.
