Volleyball Recap: Herndon Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Herndon lost against South Lakes back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Hornets lost 3-0 to the Seahawks.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-12, 25-15.

Leading South Lakes to victory were Ilana Collingham and Keira McManus. Collingham had seven digs and two aces, while McManus had nine digs and four assists.

Herndon's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for South Lakes, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, Herndon will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Oakton at 6:30 p.m. As for South Lakes, they will head out on the road to challenge George C. Marshall at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
