Baseball Recap: Bolton Takes a Loss

Bolton lost against East Granby back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Crusaders by a score of 9-7.

Josh Wagner made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Christopher Mattei, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Bolton's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Bolton will square off against East Windsor at 12:00 p.m. on Monday. As for East Granby, they will challenge East Catholic at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday.
