Softball Recap: Pendleton County Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Pendleton County challenged Conner on Wednesday. The Wildcats fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 4-3. The Wildcats were not able to make up for their defeat to the Cougars from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

Pendleton County's loss dropped their record down to 1-3-1. As for Conner, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-1-2.

Looking ahead, Pendleton County will head out to face off against Cooper at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Conner, they will welcome Campbell County at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Cougars will need to watch out since the Camels have now posted at least ten runs in their last three games.
