Soccer Game Preview: Valley vs. Smiths Station + Official Tickets

Valley hasn't had much luck against Smiths Station recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Rams will head out to square off against the Panthers at 7:00 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.

Valley will roll into the contest after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one goal last Monday, then bounced right back against Horseshoe Bend last Thursday. The Rams blew past the Generals 9-1. It was an even better day for Eddy Leon as he scored four goals for his team.

Meanwhile, Smiths Station waltzed into their match on Thursday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They never let the Wildcats get on the board and left with a 3-0 victory. Give Smiths Station's defense some credit: that's the team's fourth straight shutout.

Valley's win bumped their record up to 4-6-1. As for Smiths Station, their victory bumped their record up to 13-5-1.

Valley might still be hurting after the 10-0 loss they got from Smiths Station in their previous meeting back in April of 2023. Can the Rams avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
