Volleyball Recap: Cooter Takes a Loss

Cooter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Holcomb Hornets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hornets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 last Friday.

Cooter's offense was headlined by Olivia Richardson and Caroline Sullivan, who picked up three kills apiece. They got some help from Jozi Johnson and her six assists.

Cooter's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Holcomb, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.

Cooter didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Delta on the 26th. As for Holcomb, they have also already played their next contest, a 1-1 tie against North Pemiscot on the 26th.
