Preview: Triton Central Tigers vs. North Posey Vikings
Triton Central is on a five-game streak of home wins, while North Posey is on a four-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Triton Central Tigers will take on the North Posey Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Triton Central walked away with it. They blew past Eastern 49-0 on the road. Given Triton Central's advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana football rankings (they are ranked 53rd, while Eastern is ranked 219th), the result on Friday wasn't entirely unexpected.
Triton Central can attribute much of their success to Jace Stuckey, who rushed for 25 yards and two touchdowns.
Meanwhile, North Posey got the win against Paoli on Friday by a conclusive 35-14. 35 seems to be a good number for North Posey as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.
Jed Galvin was his usual excellent self, rushing for 97 yards and four touchdowns on only 12 carries, while also picking up 33 receiving yards.
Their wins lifted both teams to an identical 11-1.
